Tasveer Film Festival will screen the acclaimed film 'Elijah,' made by New York filmmaker Razid Season. The film follows a South Asian Muslim taxi driver in NYC whose views are challenged when he must confront community prejudice to protect his transgender son. The in-person screening is on October 12 at 2:10 PM. The film will also be available on Tasveer's virtual program from October 13 to 19. Tasveer is the world's only South Asian Oscar-qualifying film festival. Director Razid Season will attend a post-screening Q&A with the audience.
