Celebrate Pride at MoPOP with an event centering LGBTQIA+ creators using science fiction and fantasy genres to imagine new worlds and ways of being. This theme draws upon the expansive use of the word “queer”—as a verb, along with the rich history of speculative fiction created by and for LGBTQIA+ people. There will be a zine drop-in workshop, readings, resources, short films, and a pop-up exhibit featuring artifacts from The Matrix series throughout the month of June.
