Lavender Rights Project (LRP) proudly presents Future Frequencies, a landmark celebration honoring 10 years of community-rooted organizing, advocacy, and liberation work. Taking place on Saturday, September 19th at 4105 in Seattle, this ticketed fundraising event will bring together community members, supporters, artists, and partners for an unforgettable evening.

Future Frequencies is more than an anniversary; it is a collective visioning space. Rooted in Afrofuturism and musical storytelling, the event invites guests to reflect on LRP’s impact over the past decade while imagining the next 10, 20, and 30 years of Black Trans-led movement building in Seattle and across the country.

The evening will feature a buffet-style dinner, cash bar, silent auction, live musical performances, and community recognitions, including the return of LRP’s annual awards. With artists to be announced, the program will center music as a powerful vehicle for storytelling, honoring the long-standing tradition of Black communities using sound, rhythm, and performance to document history, express resistance, and envision liberated futures.

Designed as both a celebration and a call forward, Future Frequencies will create space for guests to connect, reflect, and dream together. Attendees can expect a vibrant, concert-like atmosphere filled with music, dancing, storytelling, and moments of collective joy. Throughout the night, we will uplift the voices and visions that continue to shape this movement and affirm our shared commitment to ensuring this work not only continues but thrives.

Guests will leave feeling energized, grounded in community, and inspired by a bold, collective vision for the future.
