Objects of Pride

, WA

Celebrate and connect this Pride Month through personal LGBTQIA+ histories! In honor of the 50th anniversary of Seattle Pride celebrations in June, MOHAI is bringing back – and expanding – its online-based exhibit and social media campaign, Objects of Pride through July 4 in partnership with Seattle Pride.

Objects of Pride brings together community and personal stories of LGBTQIA+ memories, weaving a collective regional history. Open to all community members who identify as LGBTQIA+, this online gathering is a chance to a read or hear a story about a photo, garment, artifact, or experience that illuminates our local LGBTQIA+ history.

You can view stories from MOHAI collections and enjoy the histories shared in past program recordings here.
