Introducing the Pet Pit Stop: Cara Veterinary Is Bringing the Pride for Our Pets!
Jun 25, 2025 | Seattle Pride
Our pets are truly family to us. Whether they’re pups in rainbow bandanas, cats in strollers (yes, we see you), or emotional support bunnies just along for the ride, our fur babies are an essential part of our rainbow families. And this year, for the first time ever, Seattle Pride is rolling out the red carpet for them with our brand-new Pet Pit Stop, hosted by our incredible partners at Cara Veterinary, the official veterinary sponsor of Seattle Pride!
Cara Veterinary knows that pets are family, and they’re creating a space that honors exactly that. The Pet Pit Stop at 4th & Lenora is your go-to moment of rest, relief, and rainbows for both you and your furry bestie.
So, what’s happening at the Pet Pit Stop? So much cute. So much care. Here's what you and your pet can look forward to:
🐾 Cooling stations with fresh water and shady spots for your pet to take a break and chill (literally).
🐾 Quick wellness checks by friendly, LGBTQ+ affirming veterinary professionals from Cara’s local hospitals.
🐾 Free goodies like treats, pet-safe giveaways, and those always-adorable branded bandanas.
🐾 A photo op so you and your pet can capture your Pride moment in style.
🐾 Helpful info about Cara’s services, wellness plans, and how to connect with a trusted hospital near you.
🐾 Live staff onsite to answer questions, share resources, and help you get connected.
🐾 A raffle for pet-focused prizes (valued at over $300!) that you won’t want to miss.
🐾 Most importantly: a supportive, inclusive space where every pet and every person is celebrated—because that’s what Pride is all about.
We’re so thrilled to welcome Cara Veterinary to the Seattle Pride family. With multiple locations across Washington, Cara is a purpose-driven organization that’s all about elevating care for pets and the people who love them. Their clinics are deeply rooted in their communities, and their mission is simple but powerful: to make life better for pets, their families, and the people who care for them—every single day.
Whether you’re marching, watching, or just soaking up the joy along the parade route, make sure to stop by the Pet Pit Stop with your furry friend. This space is for all of us!Because rainbow families come in all forms, and that absolutely includes our animals.
