Seattle Pride Seeks Board Member Candidates

| Seattle Pride (Seattle Out and Proud) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to producing and promoting pride events to connect, strengthen, and advocate for Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community. We are working to build a diverse organization representing the communities we support, and we are seeking candidates to serve on our volunteer Board of Directors. Our board members are advocates and representatives for the organization. Those who represent the diversity of Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community are encouraged to apply, including those for whom English is not a primary language; Black, Indigenous, other People of Color, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders; people with disabilities; and transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive folks. Description of roles and responsibilities can be found here. Applications for board member positions will be reviewed starting May 27th, 2024. Seattle Pride will work to provide appropriate training to prepare new board members when they join the organization. The organization will attempt to make accommodations for those who speak languages other than English and/or have variations in other abilities. |
